Raffaella Battistini was born in Cesena. After she graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Bologna University, she began to study singing with soprano Maria Parazzini, showing immediately great potential and a very interesting vocal style, allowing her to range from Verdi, Puccini, Leoncavallo, Boito and Cilea with great ease.
